Over the years, we’ve worked with numerous businesses to create custom branded garments. We know every company does things slightly different, which is why we try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to our artwork requirements. Our in-house set-up allows us to work with every client on a one-to-one basis to make sure their design comes out just the way they want it to - or even better.
Our custom branding processes
We work with every customer individually to make sure they leave with a product that fits their business goals and represents their brand perfectly.
To do this, we ensure strict quality control at every stage of the process. Our many years of experience make it possible for us to give tailored recommendations and expert advice every step of the way, ensuring every customer finds the best product for their needs.
To begin an order, please send us your requirements and logo. The more information we have the better because this allows us to recommend products or styles that will help achieve your goals. At this stage in the process, we can usually work from any standard logo formats, including JPG, PDF, EPS, AI, etc.
Once we have this information, we will consider the many options we offer and discuss the ones best suited to your needs with you. One of our in-house experts will then work with you to select the best products and create a look that you’re happy with. This can include your brand colours, your logo and anything else you wish to have on the final product.
We will then provide a quote for your order and, if everything is okay, we will send a sales order along with mock-up designs and/or proofs. This allows you to check the quality of the designs and gives you the chance to look them over one last time to make sure you’re happy with everything before approving the order.
Mock-up designs and proofs
The type of mock-up design that we send you before ordering will depend on the type of product you have chosen.
If you’re ordering prints, you will be sent a print layout proof. This will include information on the position of your logo(s), dimensions and the colours you have chosen.
If you’re ordering garments with embroidery, you will receive a physical embroidery proof. This will be exactly as the final embroidery will look, so you can check the quality of the final design.
At this stage, we will also send you a sales order which lays out all the product and branding details.
Once you’re happy with how everything looks, we’ll get to work on creating your garments and they will be with you soon after.
How we customise branded clothing
There are two main methods we use for creating custom branded clothing: print and embroidery.
Each method has slightly different requirements. We will work with you to select the best option for your needs, but you can find out more on our printing and embroidery pages.
Logos for your final order
We will always match your brand colours as closely as we can. Ideally, we prefer to have Pantone colours for your logos so we can ensure the most accurate match possible.
While we can work with any logo format to provide a quote, we may require a specific image type to create your garments.
To create clothing with printed logos or branding, we require a vector formatted logo in order to provide the highest quality print possible. This can be a vector PDF, EPS or AI file.
If you do not have the correct image format available, your graphic designer should be able to send it to you. We are happy to speak to them and take care of everything, so there’s no need for you to waste time or resources.
If the logo is not available in the correct format, we can still work from another format. For a small fee, one of our in-house designers can redesign your artwork so you can still receive top quality prints. If you choose to use this service, we will also send you the files, so you have them available for future use.
For embroidery, we can work from pretty much any format including JPG.
